The Russian watchdog also studied 32 of the 55 samples of the cheese produced at four Ukrainian companies /Prometei, Piryatinsky cheese factory, Gadyachsyr and Dubnomoloko.
"It logged three batches of cheese as failing to conform to sanitary and epidemiological requirements. These products will not be sold to the population. An analysis of another 23 samples is continuing," the Rospotrebnadzor press service said.
The Russian agency is also considering the issue of acknowledging the results of the studies at Ukraine's laboratories and the opportunity to use them in evaluating the quality and safety of Ukrainian cheese.
In February, Rospotrebnadzor announced that the products of the above Ukrainian producers contained vegetable fats not designated on the label. It was a violation of Russian regulations for dairy products, and the watchdog banned their sale in Russia.
