Saha Farms doubles export volume to 220,000 tonnes in three years as cooked chicken demand outpaces capacity

The Thai integrator is expanding into tilapia and catfish as it looks to diversify beyond poultry exports.
Thailand's Saha Farms Co., Ltd. doubled its export volume from 110,000 tonnes in 2022 to 220,000 tonnes by 2025, with demand for cooked and frozen chicken products in Asia, Europe and the Middle East at times exceeding the company's production capacity.
Jaruwan Chotitewan, Head of International Marketing, Accounting and Finance at Saha Farms, said 2025 marked the company's highest sales, revenue and profit levels since inception, reflecting sustained demand for Thai processed poultry products across international markets.
"Competition in the global market is not just about price. Quality, production standards, and food safety are crucial factors in building consumer confidence worldwide," Jaruwan said at the company's booth at THAIFEX-ANUGA Asia 2026 in Bangkok.
Saha Farms is also expanding its fisheries business, with tilapia identified as a growth category targeting markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The company said its tilapia operations focus on genetics, feed quality control, water management and traceability from farm to finished product, in fresh, frozen and processed forms. Catfish products are also cited as performing well with existing customers.
