Romania assures pork safe for consumption
Pork consumption is safe in Romania, according to Prime Minister Emil Boc on Thursday (May 28), after the Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed the country's first three cases of AH1N1 flu.
Boc said the situation is under control and that they are using all the standard EU procedures communicated by the World Health Organisations (WHO).
According to Romanian health minister Ion Bazac, Romania has been officially listed, next to the other 46 countries where the presence of AH1N1 virus has been confirmed.
