China lysine market weakens further amid slack demand

Lysine prices slid during the week ending May 28.

Lysine producers continued to negotiate prices in efforts to clear piling inventories.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine dropped to the range of RMB7.80-8.20/kg.

Demand for hog feed will continue to stay soft, curtailing the sales of lysine.

RMB1=US$0.1563 (May 28)
