China's Mengniu Dairy plans to launch a new organic milk brand imported from Denmark.

The company states that the new brand of milk will be supplied by Swedish-Danish cooperative Arla Foods and will be marketed under Arla Organic Whole Milk brand.

The product, available in 250-millilitre and one-litre packs, will be launched first in Shanghai, Beijing and other 30 cities in August.

Mengniu Dairy is involved in manufacturing and distribution of dairy products including milk powder, yogurt, ice cream and milk beverages.
