Vietnam's Aquaculture Exports To EU, Japan Soar
 

According to Vietnam's Ministry of Fisheries, aquaculture exports to the European Union and Japan surged during the first months while such exports to the US, China and Hong Kong plummeted.

Also, "tra" and "basa" catfish have been favoured in Europe and other markets.

During Jan - May, aquaculture exports brought home USD762.6 million, reaching 30% of the year target.
