Prices of CBOT July soy futures gained during early parts of the week while Brazilian farmers held back releases. However, after real depreciated sharply due to political scandal in the country, prices of soy futures plummeted over 3% on Thursday. Overall, July soy futures closed 1% compared with the previous week.
