Vietnam shrimp face export ban from EU and warning from Japan (week ended May 2, 2014)
The price of giant tiger prawn of 20 pcs/kg dropped VND13,000 (US$0.62) per kilogramme while the prices for 30 pcs/kg and 40 pcs/kg remained the same. Last week, the price of white leg shrimp of 100 pcs/kg fell from VND106,000 (US$ 5.03) per kilogramme to VND98,000 (US$4.65) per kilogramme.
