Belarus sows spring crops on more than two million hectares
Agricultural firms of Belarus surpassed the spring crops sowing plan by 1.6%, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
So, as of May 21, agrarians planted spring crops throughout the areas of 2.59 million hectares, or 1.6% of the planned areas.
Besides, agrarians planted corn throughout 956,000 hectares, or 97.3% of the planned areas.
Belarus already completed the planting campaign of flaxseed, corn for grain, spring rapeseed, early spring grains and leguminous crops, reported the Ministry of Agriculture.
