China Lysine Weekly: Producers cut prices to stimulate sales (week ended May 21, 2018)
Demand for lysine showed little improvement with soymeal costs falling and the hog sector suffering substantial losses. With supplies plentiful, lysine producers slashed prices in attempts to clear stocks. In Europe, price quotes were in the range of EUR1.30-1.35/kg.
