Poultry vet, Dr. Randy Chick, has recently joined the Danisco Animal Nutrition team as a Regional Technical Services Manager for the US and he will be based in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
As well as providing technical support, he will also help develop novel applications for Danisco's probiotic and enzyme products for broiler integrators.
Highly experienced, Randy was formerly a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian with the USDA-FSIS. He has been involved in the poultry industry since 1986 in various capacities, including academia, private practice and broiler production.
Randy is firmly focused on producer needs and is inspired by the possibilities presented by his new role. ''The use of growth-promoting antibiotics is clearly on the wane, which opens up a huge opportunity for Danisco's probiotic products. I'm very pleased to be part of the team bringing these exciting new products and related services to our customers,'' he said.
