Azerbaijan suspends poultry imports from Denmark, Romania, and South Africa
Azerbaijan's Food Safety Agency has announced a temporary suspension of live poultry, poultry meat, and chicken eggs from Denmark, Romania, and South Africa due to bird flu, MENAFN reported.
The measure was implemented following reports of highly pathogenic bird flu outbreaks in those countries, citing official reports from the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The agency has instructed Azerbaijan's state customs to take appropriate measures with regard to permitting the entry of vehicles from the affected countries.
