Batavia, NY - In the cheese market, most of our contacts report pipeline refilling has wrapped up, but we are still hearing reports of strong sales to foodservice customers. Contacts that have more exposure to retail now hold the most price-negative views in our network. Looking forward, the Farmers to Family Food Box program is set to end in just two weeks - and with cheese production surging, even with very strong restaurant demand (more on that in a moment) - it’s hard for us to be bullish.
