Russia reduces barley exports by 21%, boosts corn deliveries

 

 

In April 2012, Russia cuts its barley exports by 21% to 165.119 tonnes compared with the prior month and 36% lesser as compared with April 2011, based on official statistics.

 

If to talk about directions of exports, Saudi Arabia takes the first place with the share amounts to 47% from the total April volume against 53% in March. Jordan keeps the second position the second month round with the range of share at 30-31%.

 

At the same time, According to the official data, Spain increased purchasing volumes of Russian corn in April, 2012, to the share of 36% from the total 342.980 tonnes. This volume is record for the season-2011/12. It is up 71% and up in 10 times from April, 2011.
