Ukraine exports 3.8 million tonnes of wheat

Estimates of APK-Inform analysts put Ukraine's export of wheat at about 3.8 million tonnes in the 10 months of the current season.

State Statistics Committee data showed that in March, Ukraine exported 296,200 tonnes of wheat.

Spain remains the largest importer of Ukrainian grain with Algeria, Tunisia, Italy, Hungary and Albania together forming the bulk of key importers.

April wheat exports from Ukraine were estimated by APK-Inform experts as 350,000 to 370,000 tonnes.

Ukrainian wheat export forecast for the current season still remains unchanged at 4.2 million tonnes, said APK-Inform analysts.
