Russian Grain Traders To Negotiate US Corn Import With American Companies
According to information from the US Grains Council, a delegation of Russian grain traders will visit the United States in May. They are expected to meet with leading American grain companies, such as Louis Dreyfus Corp., Cargill Inc., Monsanto Co., Bunge North America Inc. and others.
One of the topics for negotiations is expected to be imports of American feed grain to Russia. Last year Russia did not import corn (maize) from the US, but over the last four weeks it has purchased a total of 36,000 tonnes of this crop.
