With 147 thousand square meters of constructed area, the complex will have the capacity to slaughter 15,000 animals per day following an investment of R$2.5 billion (US$474.3 million). It will create 5,500 direct jobs and 3,000 indirect jobs.

The pork sector is very important to the economy of Paraná, which has much to gain from quality logistics, according to the state's government.

Paraná is increasingly strengthening its pork production chain, with growing development in slaughterhouses and constant expansion of the market reach of its production.
