Argentina's pig slaughter, pork production hit record in 2022

Argentina's pig slaughter and pork production last year reached record levels, according to the country's Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.

7,666,022 head were slaughtered, an increase of 2.4% over 2021.

As for pork, 723,388 tonnes were produced, 3.9% more than in the year before.
