Russia's wheat, meslin exports drop seven times in Q1 2013

During the first quarter of this year, Russia exported 424,700 tonnes of wheat and meslin, seven times below last year's result.

According to the Federal Customs Service imports of wheat and meslin reached 173,200 tonnes against 300,000 tonnes the year before (3,700 tonnes from countries other than Former Soviet Union (FSU), 169,500 tonnes from Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries).
