USDA forecasts Ukraine's 2012 crop production at 45.73 million tonnes

The USDA said in a statement that it predicts Ukraine's crop production in 2012 at 45.73 million tonnes.

In particular, the wheat harvest is forecast at 13 million tonnes and feed grain - 32,725 million tonnes.

A reminder, that Ukraine's Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry forecasts the wheat harvest to be 15-16 million tonnes in 2012. The Cabinet of Ministers expects the harvest of crops in 2012 at 45-50 million tonnes.
