China April soy imports gain 55.2 percent on-year to 3.71 million tonnes

China's soy imports in April rose 55.2 percent on year to 3.71 million tonnes, according to preliminary data issued by the General Administration of Customs Tuesday (May 12).

April imports rose 0.7 percent from a month earlier, the customs said.

Year-to-date details weren't provided by the customs.
