China Whey Weekly: Firm import prices lend support to whey market (week ended May 9, 2017)
Hog market remained weak, discouraging breeder farms from expanding sow inventories. Feed millers continued to limit piglet feed production, hence curtailing the sales of whey. Whey traders held prices stable to sustain profit margin that was already low.
