Brazil's soy crop projection up to 66.7 million tonnes
Brazil's soy crop projection has been raised by the country's agriculture ministry Thursday (May 10) to 66.7 million tonnes from an April estimate of 65.6 million tonnes.
That was still well below the record 75.3 million tonnes harvested last season.
The ministry's crop supply agency Conab said it raised Brazil's corn crop estimate to 65.9 million tonnes from the 65.1 million forecast in April.
