Saudi Arabia lifts temporary ban on Polish poultry and egg imports

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has announced the lifting of a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat, eggs, and related products from Poland, Zawya reported.

The decision comes after the World Organization for Animal Husbandry issued a report confirming that the highly contagious bird flu outbreak in Poland has been successfully contained.

SFDA had previously implemented a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat and eggs from Argentina.

Saudi Arabia has also resumed poultry and egg imports from France.
