Spain's live pig imports fell 3% in 2021

Spain's import of live pigs has dropped last year, following years of increases.

In 2021, Spanish live pig imports declined 3% over the previous year.

However, the import of live pigs of EU origin last year was 48.8% higher than the average of the past four years, according to data from the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture.
