Kazakhstan's rapeseed production dropped by 22% to 117,000 tonnes this season, whereas its plantings expanded almost 1.5 times.

At the same time, the commodity's exports from Kazakhstan fell to a four-year low of 13,400 tonnes in July-March 2012-13.

By contrast, the country exported 61,000 tonnes of rapeseed at the same time in 2011-12 season.
