Argentina's wheat exports up 100 percent on-year in February
Argentina exported 1,253,649 tonnes of wheat in February, double the 623,784 tonnes shipped during the same month a year earlier, the latest Agriculture Secretariat data show.
Brazil was the leading importer of Argentine wheat in February, purchasing 542,676 tonnes compared with 371,541 tonnes a year ago.
Corn
Argentina also exported 308,060 tonnes of corn in February, down from the 533,220 tonnes shipped a year earlier.
Malaysia was the leading importer, buying 77,042 tonnes, while South Africa imported 50,350 tonnes. Tunisia, Algeria, Spain and Chile were also major buyers of corn.
