DSM Eubiotics Congress 2017 in the Philippines
DSM Nutritional Products Philippines Inc., together with its partner RNT Enterprises Inc., successfully held the DSM Eubiotics Congress 2017 on April 21, in the garden ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-La Manila in Mandaluyong, the Philippines.
With the theme "Eubiotics: Science and Applications", the event served as platform for knowledge sharing amongst the key animal industry players in the Philippines.
Dr. Charles Starkey, professor of Auburn University, gave a talk on "Effective AGP Replacements in Pig Operations" and " Factors to Consider When Formulating Swine Diets without AGPs"; Antoine Meuter, DSM global category manager for eubiotics, used the European experience to explain to the participants how antibiotics can be reduced in poultry production while Dr. Rolando Valientes, DSM APAC regional manager for eubiotics, updated the audience on the Asian experience of how effective the use of VevoVitall® for acidification can help with antibiotic-free production.
More than 120 industry stakeholders attended the DSM Eubiotics Congress 2017, including swine and poultry integrators from key farms, commercial feed manufacturers, animal nutritionists and veterinary consultants.
