Khlib Investbud exports 0.9 million tonnes of grain

 

 

The Kyiv-based Khlib Investbud company, which is part of the State Food-Grain Corporation of Ukraine state-run enterprise, has exported 850,000 tonnes of grain within grain export quotas.

 

"To date, Khlib Investbud has in full performed export supplies of grain; close to 225,000 tonnes of bread wheat and close to 577,000 tonnes of fodder corn," said Robert Brovdi, director general of Khlib Investbud.

 

He said the execution of intergovernmental agreements will continue. The company plans to report the results by the end of the marketing year.

 

As of April 29, Khlib Investbud has concluded forward contracts on purchase of 860,000 tonnes of grain for the Agrarian Fund having completed the first stage of forward purchases. The company has received quotas to export close to 850,000 tonnes of grain this marketing year.

 

The Khlib Ukrainy state joint-stock company founded the Khlib Investbud limited liability company. Khlib Investbud is presently a structural subdivision of the newly founded State Food-Grain Corporation of Ukraine. The State holds a 49% stake in Khlib Investbud.
