Jamesway's 7th Latin American Seminar: Combining work with pleasure in Mexico

Jamesway has been hosting seminars in Latin America for the past 14 years and the growing number of enthusiastic participants is an indication that they are well appreciated, the company says.
This April, over 125 attendees arrived for two days of seminars at the Ocean Maya Royal Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Organised by Jesus Campa, Jamesway's senior manager of sales for Latin America, this was Jamesway's seventh Latin American Seminar.
Presentations were made by some of the most experienced professionals in the industry including William Killgore, incubation specialist for Hubbard LLC, Dr. Keith Bramwell, associate professor of the Department of Poultry Science (University of Arkansas), Javier Alvarado from Aviagen, Guadalupe Pardo, technical manager from Cobb-Vantress, and Héctor Garcia Espinosa from Merial.
Topics ranged from egg storage and chick liveablity, to transportation, SPIDES and pathology and vaccination and other industry issues.
The discussions were animated and informative with active sharing of a tremendous amount of experience from both the speakers and the audience.
During the opening presentation, Jim McKay, Jamesway's director of Americas sales, observed that "the first seminar in 2003 had only 25 participants. This one had over 125. Clearly the momentum is building".
