China Lysine Weekly: Producers stand firm amid higher output costs (week ended May 2, 2017)
Corn production costs rose steadily as corn prices climbed further. Producers were therefore reluctant to negotiate prices even though domestic sales showed little signs of improving with hog market weakening. A handful of producers attempted to lift prices but were unsuccessful as others held prices stable.
