US sells 30,000 tonnes soyoil to China
During the 2011-12 marketing year, private exporters in the US have exported sales of 30,000 tonnes of soyoil for shipment to China.
The marketing year for soyoil began October 1.
The USDA issues both daily and weekly export sales reports to the public.
Exporters are required to report to the USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tonnes or more of one commodity, made in one day, or quantities totalling 200,000 tonnes or more in any reporting period, except 20,000 tons for soyoil, made in one day to one destination, by 3 p.m. Eastern time on the next business day following the sale.
Export sales of less than these quantities must be reported to the USDA on a weekly basis.
