Saudi Arabia secures 450,000 tonnes wheat
Saudi Arabia purchased 450,000 tonnes of wheat at US$316.92/tonne for July and September delivery, the kingdom's Grain Silos & Flour Mills Organization (GSFMO) said in an emailed statement on Sunday (Apr 29).
The wheat was bought from Australia, Argentina, the EU, Canada and the US, the statement said.
The shipments of 12.5% protein wheat will be distributed to the ports of Jeddah and Dammam.
