China's seafood prices hike as supply tightens

The limited supply of China's freshwater fish has triggered price increases for fish products in the domestic markets from April 14 to April 20, the Ministry of Commerce said.

The average wholesale price of aquatic products in China's key medium and large cities rose by 0.7 percent.

Qingdao, Ningbo and Shijiazhuang cities recorded the highest weekly wholesale price rate of increase of aquatic products with 9 percent, 6 percent and 6 percent respectively.
