Feed producers limited purchases of calcium phosphate as poultry market softened towards late April. This, in conjunction with slack demand from the hog sector, dragged prices lower.
Calcium phosphate prices will likely stay soft amid lacklustre demand. However, the downward scope of the market will be limited with profit margins low.
