China Live Hog Weekly: Prices plummet 16% in four months (week ended Apr 27, 2017)
Hog prices continued to fall as slaughterhouses were reluctant to expand inventories even with May Day holidays approaching. With the demand for pork sluggish, prices of pork carcass dipped 0.84% to RMB20.18/kg.
