Lithuania's grain exports show decrease
Lithuania's grain purchase, sale and processing companies exported 101,480 tonnes of grain in March, down 5% on-year.
Grain imports plummeted by 75% on-year, to 7,860 tonnes, although rapeseed imports alone soared by 89 times, to 5,120 tonnes, the country's Agricultural Information and Rural Business Centre reported.
Wheat comprised the largest share of grain exports last month, at 97,120 tonnes. Lithuania exported wheat to Latvia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Finland and Saudi Arabia.
