Emmi's board of directors members not standing for reelection

Emmi's vice-chairman of the board of directors, Thomas Oehen-Bühlmann, and another member of the board, Franz Steiger, will not be standing for reelection at the Swiss milk processor's 2022 annual general meeting.

The decisions were made as part of Emmi's long-term succession planning.

Emmi will make an announcement in due course on who will be succeeding the long-serving members.

Oehen-Bühlmann has been a member of the board since 2009 and its vice-chairman since 2012. He is also a member of the Personnel and Compensation Committee, the Market Committee and the Agricultural Council.

Steiger has been a member of the board since 2015 and is also a member of the Agricultural Council.

According to Emmi, Oehen-Bühlmann and Steiger have used their expertise to made a significant contribution to the company's international expansion, the consolidation of its presence in the Swiss market and the development of niche businesses.
