Serbia to sell meat, milk products to Bahrain
Businessmen from the south-western Serbian municipality of Sjenica and a business delegation from Bahrain have reached an agreement on exports of two tonnes of meat and dairy products every other day to this Gulf country.
The first delivery will be on its way on Monday (Apr 29), the office of Sulejman Ugljanin, minister in the Serbian government, said in a release Thursday (Apr 25).
The Bahraini delegation said that their country, lying in the desert, needs everything - from water to all kinds of food.
Ugljanin told the guests that underdeveloped municipalities of the Sandzak (Raska) region, such as Sjenica, produce healthy food, which the guests could see for themselves while on their visit to the region, according to the release.
