Vietnam's January-April dairy products imports up 36.6%
The General Statistics Office said on Wednesday (Apr 25) that in January-April, Vietnam is estimated to have spent US$340 million on importing of milk and dairy products, 36.6% higher than the same period last year.
The Southeast Asian country bought milk and dairy products worth US$85 million in April, rising from US$84 million in March.
In 2011, Vietnam's expenditures on importing dairy products increased 19.7% on year to US$848 million.
