Vilofoss Group appoints new CEO

Vilofoss Group announced on April 17 the appointment of Dennis Jørgensen as its chief executive offcier who will take over the position, effective June 1.
Jørgensen brings with him several years of experience from the vitamin and mineral industry. He takes over from Jesper Pagh, group chief operating officer and member of the executive board of the DLG Group, who was the interim head of Vilofoss.
"I am pleased that Dennis has accepted the role as head of Vilofoss," Pagh said. "Dennis comes with years of experience and in-depth industry knowledge. Over the years, he has created great results, and at the same time, he is a skilled leader who sets direction, drives development and manages to involve his team. I really look forward to our collaboration."
Jørgensen started his career in management positions in agriculture. Over the years, he has held leadership responsibilities in companies such as Brenntag Nordic and AB Agri in Denmark and the United Kingdom, respectively.
In 2022, Jørgensen completed a management education at INSEAD and today runs his own company, Nordic Nutrition Partner A/S.
"It was an active choice when I started my own business, and I had actually thought that it should be the focal point for the rest of my career," Jørgensen said. "However, when the opportunity to lead Vilofoss presented itself, I did not hesitate. For 25 years, I have worked with the DLG Group, so I have good knowledge of the strategic direction and the ambition to commercialise sustainable solutions towards agriculture. At the same time, the group has a strong set of values that align well with my own. I am very much looking forward to getting started and meeting all my new colleagues."
