JBS ground beef plant commences production in Arizona, US
Animal protein processor, JBS USA, has announced that a state-of-the-art ground beef production facility, based in Tolleson, Arizona, US, has begun operations last week.
The new facility includes a distribution center and 16,000 square feet of new equipment and systems. The facility will produce a variety of ground beef items including Cedar River Farms Natural Beef and Showcase Premium Ground Beef.
Ground beef accounts for 48% of all fresh beef purchased at supermarkets and 67% of all beef consumed at food service outlets, according to JBS.
