Starbucks introduces Beyond Meat and Omnipork products to China
The new plant-based food items will feature in its China stores, where the world's biggest coffee chain has recently reopened after the country steadily recovers from the COVID-19 outbreak, reported Reuters.
The new menu items are aimed at curious and environmentally conscious consumers, featuring Beyond Meat alternative beef lasagnas and pastas and other alternative pork dishes from Omnipork.
Beyond Meat will see its Asian footprint expand further after its popularity boom in some parts of Europe and the United States.
Beyond Meat said it will introduce a Chinese-language website and open new Weibo and WeChat accounts in the country.
