China Corn Weekly: Slow yet steady price hikes (week ended Apr 17, 2020)

Prices moved higher.
Corn prices showed no signs of stabilising in China as supplies continued to tighten. Nonetheless, prices hikes were gradual as weak poultry feed demand dampened the confidence of feed producers.
Corn supplies are set to stay tight with the state corn reserves falling to 56 million tonnes and market availability scarce. This will continue to push up prices even as buyers prudently limit stockpiles.
