Japan's compound feed output for February slides 4% on-year
The total compound feed output of Japan fell 4% in February against last year to 1.847 million tonnes, falling on-year for the second month in a row, the Agriculture Ministry's data showed.
In January, total output of compound feed for animals had declined 3% from a year earlier to 1.886 million tonnes.
Japan is the world's biggest importer of corn, the main ingredient in animal feed in Japan. The US is its main supplier of corn for feed use.
