EU grants 121,260 tonnes intervention wheat export licenses

 

 

The European Union Thursday (Apr 20) granted licenses to export 121,260 tonnes of wheat, 7,451 tonnes of barley and 46,397 tonnes from intervention stores, EU figures show.

 

The intervention wheat licenses included 49,754 tonnes for Germany at EUR105.05/tonne; 43,307 tonnes for France at EUR105.01/tonne; 26,500 tonnes for Czech Republic at EUR101.53/tonne; and 1,699 tonnes at EUR98.47/tonne. Wheat intervention bids for Hungary were rejected.

 

The barley licenses were all for Lithuania at EUR95.00/tonne. All barley bids from the Czech Republic were rejected.

 

All of the awarded rye licenses were from Germany at EUR63.75/tonne.
