Russians eat more meat this year
Meat consumption per capita in Russia is likely to increase to 17.6 kg in 2005 from 16 kg last year, said Vladimir Fisinin, vice president of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
About 10.3 kg would be from local sources, compared with 8.3 kg in 2004.
