Corn prices mostly stable in China; prices edged lower at the northern and southern ports (Apr 21, 2005)
An eFeedLink exclusive report
Corn prices in China were mostly stable early this week, although prices edged lower at the northern and southern ports.
In the north-eastern production regions, prices of corn were stable amid light trade. Corn prices at the southern consumption regions moved in a narrow range lately as demand remained sluggish.
With the persistent price weakness of wheat, another major crop in the Yellow / Huai River production regions, corn prices fell marginally here in recent days.
