Russia exports 63,000 tonnes wheat to Iran
From the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, a Russian vessel carrying 63,000 tonnes of wheat headed to Iran last week, SovEcon said, citing data from shipping agent TransAgent.
It's the biggest one-time shipment of Russian wheat to Iran for the marketing year that started on July 1, the Moscow-based researcher said today. Russia has shipped more than 100,000 tonnes of wheat to the Islamic republic this season, according to SovEcon's website.
