India corn futures seen higher on export demand
India corn futures are seen higher on Thursday due to improving export demand, but arrival pressure from the winter crop may lower gains, analysts said.
Trade estimates exports at 800,000 tonnes in the corn marketing year ending September, up from previous projections of 250,000 tonnes to 400,000 tonnes.
April contract NMZJ9 on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange ended at Rs835 (US$16.8) per 100 kg, up 0.12 percent on Wednesday (Apr 15).
